First Blog Post!

So, I've gone back in time and started a blog. Who needs that when you have Twitter, right?

But my thoughts can't simply be captured in 280 characters or however many it is these days. I know the entire challenge is to do that, but I'm a VERY wordy person.

Don't worry, my national final song reviews will still be on super long threads on Twitter. That's not changing, simply because it's just easier that way. But I might do a kinda review of the national final after all is said and done.

And speaking of national finals, the video! I was gonna make one for 2022. Will I still make it? Maybe, I've recorded everything alphabetically up to Denmark so far. But after Denmark, I started writing rigorous scripts - perhaps too rigorous! My Finland segment had more than 2800 words, and if I had to guess, that's 15-18 minutes if I speak fast. And if I speak fast, I get that stage fright issue I talked about in the About section. So I figured, maybe I should just paste these scripts in here, and retrospectively write new ones from Albania to Denmark. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm not even close to finishing the scripts yet - I think I'm at Ireland or Italy or something - but I think I'll resume writing them when I get the post-Denmark stuff pasted here.

In the meantime, you can always watch the videos I have on my channel. I really thought I would get a few more views on my Scotland in Eurovision video, but I guess it isn't as interesting as I first thought it...? No idea. But rest assured that more posts are coming. They won't be regular or short, but they'll certainly be a read.
